Computing is a creative activity which applies appropriate technology to the solution of problems. Computing professionals are involved in the investigation and analysis of problems, the design and evaluation of feasible solutions and the implementation of the most cost effective way of meeting user needs. Computing specialists communicate with a wide range of people (managers, users and colleagues) and must be aware of the business implications of the decisions made.
