On this course you’ll explore the generation, transmission, storage and uses of renewable energy. This will prepare you to pursue a rewarding and sustainable career in engineering.<br/><br/>As scientists make dire predictions about the catastrophic impact that climate change is likely to have on future generations, governments and industries are seeking new ways of powering our homes, cities and economies without devastating our world.<br/><br/>You’ll be studying in a university fully committed to sustainability and ethical practices. Here youll be able to put your knowledge of technical design, power generation and project management to the test<br/><br/><br/>- Further advance your career prospects through an optional 48-week industry placement between Year 2 and Year 3.<br/><br/><br/>**Future Careers** <br/><br/>Renewable and Sustainable Energy is a vital component to tackling climate change. Graduates are in greater demand than ever - your career options within this sector can be varied and will involve many exciting roles.<br/><br/>There are an estimated 250,000 jobs in the UK energy sector.
