Exploring topics on a local, national and global scale, you’ll learn about education from all perspectives and understand how you can make a significant difference in the lives of others.<br/><br/>Viewing education through a variety of international lenses in this way enables you to become a global citizen committed to social justice.<br/><br/>**Diverse study options**<br/>You will study a diverse range of modules across three years including Teaching English as a Foreign Language and Comparative Education.<br/><br/>**Open up your career options**<br/>This broadly-scoped degree opens up opportunities to work in the community, with organisations that have an educational component to their work or a career in teaching at any level.<br/><br/>**Placement opportunities**<br/>You will have the opportunity to undertake a work placement in your second and third years in a variety of educational settings or organisations, both in the UK and abroad. These placements help you to contextualise theoretical learning and examine contemporary educational issues in society.<br/><br/>**On this course you will:**<br/>- Investigate, understand and analyse the fast-changing landscape of education.<br/><br/><br/>- Study real-word projects as you learn in an active manner.<br/><br/><br/>- Explore and consider key theories of human development and the nature of education.<br/><br/><br/>- Gain a firm foundation for a career within educational settings and open routes into teaching, educational policy and charity organisations in the UK and beyond.<br/>
