This 4-year BMus (Hons) Performance degree will prepare you for your career in industry. <br/><br/>You will train in the art of performance itself and study performance anxiety, the use of gesture in performance, and concert and event hosting. You will have the opportunity to study the Alexander Technique, Yoga, dance and acting alongside a range of contextual modules.<br/><br/>Our ensembles are involved in a lot of performance work along with a rich programme of concerts, recitals and master classes by visiting artists.<br/><br/>You will study in the University of Chichester Conservatoire, which has one of the largest and liveliest music departments in the UK with a community of over 400 student performers. You will access facilities including computerised recording and media studios, well equipped practice rooms and an acoustically superb performance venue.<br/><br/>You will complete a personal project in your final year, which is an opportunity to present a longer and more challenging programme of performance work.<br/><br/>On this course you will:<br/>-Train in the art of performance.<br/>-Study a range of contextual modules.<br/>-Join one or more Conservatoire ensembles.<br/>-Perform throughout your degree.<br/>-Take part in concerts, recitals and master classes by visiting artists.
