**On this exciting four-year course, you’ll learn from experts in the Criminal Justice System and emergency services and get the chance to impress an employer during a placement year.**<br/><br/>Explore the exciting disciplines of Forensic Science and Criminology in our new crime scene facilities. Youll have access to a purpose-built vehicle examination garage, modern lab spaces, specialised decomposition facilities and a mock mortuary. Well guide you through practical crime scenes and mass disaster scenarios and let you try out your Disaster Victim Identification skills.<br/><br/>Youll be taught by industry experts with years of hands-on experience, including our Department of Law and Criminology at Greenwich Campus. Youll work alongside experts from Kent Fire Brigade, the Metropolitan and Kent Police, Counter Terrorism, and other organisations. During a placement year, youll be able to put your skills into practice and showcase your skills to employers.<br/><br/>The course is accredited by the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences (for which youll receive free membership throughout your studies). If youre excited by forensic investigations or you want to understand the cause of terrorism and cybercrime, this four-year course is the ideal start for your professional future.<br/><br/>**What you should know about this course**<br/><br/><br/>- Use the placement year to get a head-start in your future career<br/><br/><br/>- We offer specialist forensic provision, outstanding laboratory and crime scene facilities<br/><br/><br/>- Youll be taught by industry professionals with years of real world practical experience in forensic service provision<br/><br/><br/>- You will be well prepared for careers in areas like homicide investigation, blood pattern analysis, molecular biology, fingerprints, toxicology, and ballistics<br/><br/><br/>- This course is taught at our Medway Campus in Chatham Maritime, Kent.<br/>
