<strong>Our architecture degree, accredited by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Architects Registration Board (ARB), is your first step to a professional career in architecture</strong><br/><br/>Teaching is based at our Stockwell Street Building in Heneghan Peng-designed galleries. Studio-based tutorial groups provide all the skills and knowledge youll need via a range of approaches to architectural design. Youll learn to use design software and gain visual communication and drawing skills.<br/><br/>You will also study architectural practice, the histories and contemporary theories of architecture alongside sustainability and technology. Successful graduates will gain exemption from the RIBA Part 1 examination.<br/><br/><strong>What you should know about this course</strong><br/><br/><br/>• The BA Hons Architecture programme is a first step in a professional career in architecture<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Explore new technologies, emerging social conditions, contemporary cultural contexts, and theoretical / aesthetic concerns<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Explore our visual and tactile world, learning visual communication and drawing skills and the use of computer software.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Visits to art galleries, museums, architecture offices and important buildings. We also host lectures by eminent speakers.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Our students have been recognised by prestigious national awards, such as the AJ Student Prize, RIBA student awards and the Worshipful Company of Chartered Architects awards.<br/><br/>
