Our innovative and contemporary - and CIPD-accredited - degree in human resource management introduces you to all the aspects of people management which support a business to be effective.
We cover everything, from attracting potential employees and getting them working together to helping a business grow and achieve its goals. You will gain a good understanding of the theories and practical skills you need to build a career in HR. You will learn to design, co-ordinate and implement the complete employment cycle from recruitment, selection, performance management to employee exits and dismissals in a fair way. We focus on doing things right and doing the right thing, with an emphasis on sustainability, our global world, and ways of achieving a more representative workforce.
Cutting-edge topics such as sustainability and ethics, along with wellbeing and equality, diversity, and inclusion, will enable you to develop a career in human resources where you can really make an impact. This course provides a solid foundation for your career, preparing you for roles in recruitment, training and development, personnel and human resource management, employee relations, talent management, reward, equality, diversity & inclusion, plus many other sectors.
