<strong>Our Public Health degree focuses on prevention and health promotion of real-world issues that affect entire populations, globally and in the UK, like pandemics, mental health and climate change.</strong><br/><br/>Our Public Health degree helps build healthier communities by addressing root causes like poverty, inequality and lack of equitable access to healthcare. Throughout the course, you will explore contemporary issues such as food insecurity, domestic violence, homelessness, maternal health, and how housing and environment affect health.<br/><br/>Public health is underpinned by legislation (law), which makes this a secure area for employment, and our assessments reflect academic and employer skills requirements. This will help you develop effective verbal, written, audio-visual, social media presentation and communication expertise.<br/><br/>In your final year, youll complete 40 hours of work experience in a Public Health setting, or equivalent, giving you valuable real-world insights.
