Our law study abroad degree is a four-year course which includes a year studying in Europe at one of our selected partner institutions.

<strong>Our law study abroad degree is a four-year course which includes a year studying in Europe at one of our selected partner institutions.</strong><br/><br/>As well as covering all the knowledge youll need to qualify for a law degree, youll also gain the kind of transferable skills most employers are looking for: versatility, familiarity with another culture, and proficiency in or working knowledge of a foreign language.<br/><br/>This degree is recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Bar Standards Board. This means youll be able to take further training to qualify to practise as a solicitor or barrister in England and Wales if you complete this degree successfully.<br/><br/><strong>Complete your law degree at Greenwich - and get a US law degree in just 15 extra months</strong><br/><br/>Graduates of University of Greenwich law degreeshave a fantastic opportunity to progress on to the JD programme (Juris Doctor - the American law degree) or LLM programme with our partners at Mitchell Hamline School of Law (MHSL), in Minnesota, USA.<br/><br/>This pioneering agreement between the two universities, means that our graduates can complete their JD programme in only 15 months rather than the full three years.<br/><br/>Mitchell Hamline School of Law is also offering up to 50% scholarships (depending on the student application) to Greenwich graduates.<br/><br/>For further information please contact law@gre.ac.uk.<br/><br/><strong>What you should know about this course</strong><br/>• You can study in Europe at one of our partner institutions - contact us for details of these<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Learn to adapt to new challenges and environments and manage life in a different culture<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Apply to assist volunteer lawyers on real cases at the university’s Legal Advice Centre or apply to assist with the Innocence Project London<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Our links with employers in London, through our Law Advisory Forum, include law firms, barristers’ chambers and financial institutions<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Benefit from guest speakers and networking events with employers, professional bodies and alumni to help your career planning.<br/><br/>
