The primary aim of the BSc Hons Therapeutic Radiography programme at the University of Hertfordshire is to provide an inclusive learning experience in which all students are encouraged to develop the graduate skills, intellectual potential and professional expertise required of a Therapeutic Radiographer. <br/><br/>This rewarding programme has been developed in partnership with clinical NHS Trusts and combines blocks of practice placements with blocks of study. It uses an inquiry based, research-informed approach that means our graduates are ready to move into the workplace and start delivering exceptional healthcare and support to patients on graduation.<br/><br/>Therapeutic Radiographers are the only healthcare professionals registered to deliver radiotherapy to patients with cancer and this programme ensures that our students develop the technical skills for accurate and safe delivery of radiation and excellent communication and team-working skills that enable empathetic interactions with our patients, carers and with other healthcare professionals.
