Computer Science is at the heart of many of today’s advances. Industries from healthcare to finance need computing skills to help them innovate and understand their data better – making this an exceptional route to a rewarding career.
Our BSc in Computer Science gives you the foundation to thrive in this transformative industry, through hands-on, real-world learning.
We’ve worked closely with leaders in industry to ensure that everything is designed with your career in mind. You’ll start with the fundamentals of computing, from software engineering to statistics, and reinforce your learning with lab sessions. You’ll also get a strong grounding in mathematics - which means even those without a maths A-level can quickly get up to speed.
You’ll learn on a campus which is well-known for its supportive feel, with on-site staff immersed in tomorrow’s breakthroughs. Your curriculum is informed by Kent’s world-class research, in fields such as cyber security, AI, and programming languages.
You’ll also be able to pursue your passions in the final year, with a wide range of specialised options including computer game design, human computer interaction, robotics, blockchain and creative AI.
