On this course, you’ll study how the body responds to exercise. You'll focus on physiology, psychology, and biomechanics, giving you an in-depth understanding of movement. You'll gain practical skills in our advanced sports science labs and real-world settings. Plus, you can tailor your studies to focus on either health and fitness or performance.

In your final year, you'll take on a research project, giving you a deep dive into a specific area of sport and exercise science that interests you most. Along with our employability module, this will prepare you for the job market or further study.

What you'll do
* You’ll learn through a practical approach. You'll have the opportunity to study physiology, psychology, biomechanics, strength and conditioning and more.
* You’ll gain practical experience and key skills valued by employers in sport and exercise. This include independence, critical thinking, problem solving, and communication.
* You’ll have the option of achieving Level 2 and 3 industry recognised qualifications. This could be in Gym Instruction, Personal Training and Exercise Referral.
