The LLB (Hons) Law is aimed at students who wish to pursue a career in the legal or wider commercial sector. The LLB has a practical focus with employability integrated into the course. There is a high level of small group teaching. The law modules are delivered predominantly by professionally qualified lawyers. Students will study the key legal topics and related skills that are critical for the modern law student but also have a choice of options. The LLB (Hons) Law is aimed at students who wish to pursue a career in the legal or wider commercial sector. The LLB has a practical focus with employability integrated into the course. There is a high level of small group teaching. The law modules are delivered predominantly by professionally qualified lawyers. Students will study the key legal topics and related skills that are critical for the modern law student but also have a choice of options. The course is delivered over two semesters per academic year. The students study six modules per year. <br/><br/>The course will deliver an insight into critical legal topics and develop knowledge and understanding of key concepts in a practical environment. Students will have practical issues raised and develop relevant skills of analysis, research, problem-solving, and communication skills so as to resolve those issues but also the relevant skills to be able to communicate them. <br/><br/>This programme is not available to students requiring sponsorship on a Student Route Visa.
