Building Surveying with International Foundation Year BSc (Hons)

Our BSc Building Surveying with International Foundation Year course is designed to prepare you for a successful career in building surveying. You will benefit from the Departments strong links with industry and the surveying profession.<br/><br/>This programme is designed for international students. If you want to study building surveying at a British university but don’t have the correct qualifications, our four-year BSc Building Surveying with International Foundation Year programme enables you to undertake an undergraduate building surveying degree.<br/><br/>You will complete a foundation year (called Year 0) before progressing onto our three-year BSc Building Surveying degree. This means you can apply for a single four-year visa that covers the whole duration of your studies.<br/><br/>The foundation year is designed to equip you with the subject-specific and general study skills needed to cope with the demands of undergraduate study. Our high-quality teaching is geared towards the needs of students from a wide range of educational backgrounds.<br/><br/>**Placements**<br/>You can carry out a paid industrial training placement, lasting a year or a shorter period. This experience not only provides you with an insight into industry, but is also a valuable opportunity to get to know a range of industry professionals.<br/><br/>Placements can be located anywhere in the UK, and sometimes take place abroad.
