Develop core skills and knowledge, and tailor your learning to the areas of maths you’re most passionate about with our flexible BSc Mathematics degree.<br/><br/>Your degree will meet the educational requirements of the Chartered Mathematician designation, awarded by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications when followed by subsequent training and experience in employment to obtain equivalent competencies to those specified by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) for taught masters degrees.<br/><br/>This degree includes an integrated, year-long work placement between your second and final year. We offer a variety of placements – in areas such as finance, statistics or modelling – to provide you with valuable experience and insight into industry. In recognition of the excellent preparation that the Extended Project Qualification provides to students for University study, we now include achievement in the EPQ as part of a formal offer. Eligible applicants would receive two offers, our usual offer plus an alternative offer of a B in the EPQ and one grade lower in their A level subjects.
