Over the duration of your course, you will be expected to develop independent and critical learning, progressively building confidence and expertise through independent and collaborative research, problem-solving, and analysis with the support of staff.<br/><br/>**Our Connections**<br/><br/>Our Criminology course provides opportunities to engage with practitioners and professions related to criminology and the criminal justice system. Historically, visiting lectures, volunteering, and work-based modules have provided direct contact with and experience of work in contexts such as the police service, prison, probation, and community-based organisations and agencies. The course has also historically included experience working on the Innocence Project, which introduces live cases of criminal appeals.
