Energy security is a key issue and there is a need to develop more sustainable sources of energy supply so we can reduce or eliminate harmful emissions from traditional fossil fuels.<br/><br/>Both the UK Government and Senedd Cymru (Welsh Parliament) have recognised that there is a significant need to develop engineers and managers in the area of energy and environmental technology who can rise to this challenge of continuing to develop this area of high-value manufacturing.<br/><br/>Our Energy and Environmental Engineering degree programme will help you to develop skills that are valuable to a wide range of employers, such as the ability to analyse complex information critically; the ability to present clear and coherent arguments and the capacity to present complex information in a clear manner.<br/><br/>Such an education will develop an awareness of the interconnectedness of environmental and sustainable issues and equip you with a qualification relevant to a number of different applied situations.<br/><br/>The following Bachelor’s degree has been accredited as meeting the academic requirement, in part, for Chartered Engineer (CEng in Part) registration for the cohort intakes from 2015 up to and including 2023:<br/><br/>BEng(Hons) Energy and Environmental Engineering (Full Time 3 Years; EngC)
