What Facilities Can I Use?

You’ll have access to AppsAnywhere and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), providing remote access to industry-standard software and powerful computing resources. Software includes Maya, Nuke, Adobe Creative Cloud, Renderman, Substance, ZBrush and other tools commonly used in animation and modelling. You'll also be able to connect with students and alumni across our animation, visual effects, game art and visualisation courses through moderated online communities that support networking and collaborative projects.

What Will I Study?

The course develops skills in animation, visual effects and games art, covering animation fundamentals, visual storytelling, modelling, lighting and rendering. You’ll explore different animation styles and 3D character acting while developing technical and creative expertise. In your final year, you'll build a professional showreel and collaborate with students from other creative disciplines to prepare for employment in the industry.
