Industry-Level Facilities
You'll have access to industry-standard studios, specialist machinery and professional equipment, including an in-house fabric and yarn store, screen-printing facilities, a dye laboratory, and sewing and garment production facilities. Dedicated studio space allows you to develop your work independently, supported by specialist technicians and demonstrators. Opportunities are also available to collaborate with photography

Led by an experienced course team, you'll benefit from industry expertise, guest lecturers, live project briefs, masterclasses and networking opportunities. As part of the College of Creative Arts, Technology and Engineering, the course combines practical learning with contextual studies and opportunities to collaborate with students across different creative disciplines.

Previous collaborations have included Alexander McQueen Studio, Chittleborough and Morgan, Burberry, Topshop, Armani, Stella McCartney, Mint Velvet, the British Fashion Council and UK Fashion & Textile Association (UKFT). Our High Wycombe campus also offers easy access to London's fashion, cultural and creative sectors, providing opportunities to visit exhibitions, galleries and industry events.
What Will I Study?
Fashion and Textiles is a global industry offering diverse career opportunities. This course develops creativity, innovative thinking and contemporary approaches to fashion and textile design, covering the full design process from concept development to final production. You'll gain practical experience, technical expertise and professional knowledge across textile specialisms including knitwear, print and surface design for fashion, before focusing on your chosen area of interest. Throughout the course, you'll develop your individual design identity, respond to evolving industry trends and technologies, and build a professional portfolio and final capsule collection, showcased at the end-of-year summer exhibition.
