What Facilities Can I Use?
BNU has invested in industry-standard facilities to help you develop practical skills using the technologies and software used by employers. You'll have access to custom-built computer labs featuring dual-boot Windows and Linux systems, specialist hardware and professional software for computing, games and web development.
You'll also gain hands-on experience with technologies including virtual reality headsets, 3D printers, Raspberry Pi microcomputers and EEG devices, supporting a range of practical projects throughout the course. In addition, our Virtual Learning Environment and remote server access enable flexible study and access to learning resources from any location.
What Will I Study?
Throughout the course, you'll develop skills in programming, secure web and mobile application development, and team-based software projects using agile methodologies. You'll learn to design and build dependable software systems using object-oriented approaches and industry-standard modelling techniques, including UML (Unified Modelling Language).
The course also develops your understanding of software testing, project management and large-scale software development processes, preparing you for a range of careers within the software and technology sectors.
