The best university. With teachers that are willing to help you succeed but also understand if there is something bothering you.

As a whole, I think freshers week was fun. It was a good week getting to meet and spend time with new people from my accommodation, course mates and society's/sports teams. Freshers week allowed me to settle in comfortably and enabled me to become familiar with my new environment at university. There were also a lot of night time events such as clubbing which made freshers week very enjoyable. There are a lot of accommodations to choose from at Canterbury Christ Church University. Having such a vast choice was definitely a benefit as I was able to choose an accommodation that would make me feel comfortable. Most of the accommodations fitted my needs and wants for university. Such as having an ensuite, a shared kitchen and a common room. The facilities such as the laundry room, were clean and well looked after. My own personal experience in my university accommodation was overall great. The facilities at Canterbury Christ Church University are astounding. They have a fantastic newly built library and the classrooms are well designed. The student Union is a nice place to go for a catch-up with your friends or events such as Sunday quiz. It also always has a nice atmosphere. The sports facilities are also fantastic with lots of equipment and rooms/halls to accompany anyone's sports needs such as their very own gym. Overall their facilities are well looked after and clean. My course was brilliant. The lecturers were always there to help me through the year and were always supportive. City life here was great as we have a vast range of things to do. We have the highstreet with loads of shops and restaurants. There are also multiple pubs, clubs and cocktail bars.

Freshers was very good, very organised and lots to do. The university offered lots of advice and hosted freshers fayre. Accommodation is clean, tidy and modern. It's expensive for what you get but very good locations with events inside St. George's. Library is amazing, huge with plenty of spaces. Classrooms were very dated and neglected, in need of a revamp which I believe they're doing. Student union is in St. George's, very good and very cheap. The course was only 3 days a week, giving us additional days to complete set work/assignments. Lectures were so so helpful and friendly, always there to help. Canterbury is a lovely city because it is a small city. You can know a lot of people which makes it feel more safe if you're new to the area. The city is also very pedestrianised, which makes is easy to walk from one side to the other... your car is not needed.

History, Year 3

It was brilliant! Really inclusive and lots of opportunities to meet new people! Freshers Fayre was great. I was in Petros court for my first year and it was lovely. The security were on hand at any inconvenience and there is a washer/dryer facility on site. The library is brilliant! Endless books and thousands of Apple Macs and pc's. Big to small classrooms depending on course size. The student Union is right under one of the accommodation sites and has very affordable food! They host society takeovers every week. The dedication of the lectures is just fantastic! I couldn't ask for anymore. All material is uploaded online so that you can revise! Canterbury is a beautiful city and now probably one of my favourite cities in the UK. The mix between medieval and modern is stunning!

Amazing! Loved meeting new people and enjoyed the nights out that went with it. Great atmosphere around Canterbury 5 different locations off campus to choose from and one on campus. Spacious and has everything you need! Amazing 3 story library with thousands of books and journals. Big classroom sizes. Very good gym with sports hall, including spinning sessions etc. Student union had great food, drink and entertainment weekly Great to meet new people who have a similar interest to you. Lecturers were very helpful and friendly. Assignments were different and creative each year Very good cite. Plenty of shops around the town centre to go shopping or get a coffee. Lovely scenery around and plenty of things to do

Freshers week made me feel welcoming. It me feel like I could be myself without being judged like I would be in college. My accommodation was more than fit for purpose. There was lots of storage to use and was perfect, particularly for primary education students Our students' union has progressively got better over my time at uni. The library has given us enough books to support and go beyond our studies. Our course allowed us to explore our own ideologies and reflections on practice. It also allows us to think beyond our pedagogical awareness of curriculum subjects The city life is alive. No two days are ever the same

We are on a distance learning course so unfortunately didn't get to get involved in Freshers. I'm sure it was good though! I'm not in CCCU accommodation The facilities have been great! Their law department is amazing! We are so lucky that we have lots of input from external speakers and support from the staff! The city is lovely, amazing architecture and buildings, nice places to eat and is really chilled
