Tourism / Transport / Travel, Graduate
(5)·By Rhys S·Tourism / Transport / Travel· Jul 2021 Freshers was very good, very organised and lots to do. The university offered lots of advice and hosted freshers fayre. Accommodation is clean, tidy and modern. It's expensive for what you get but very good locations with events inside St. George's. Library is amazing, huge with plenty of spaces. Classrooms were very dated and neglected, in need of a revamp which I believe they're doing. Student union is in St. George's, very good and very cheap. The course was only 3 days a week, giving us additional days to complete set work/assignments. Lectures were so so helpful and friendly, always there to help. Canterbury is a lovely city because it is a small city. You can know a lot of people which makes it feel more safe if you're new to the area. The city is also very pedestrianised, which makes is easy to walk from one side to the other... your car is not needed.
