The Cloud Computing with Foundation Year BA (Hons) course aims to provide you with a solid grounding for building a career in the digital sector.<br/><br/>The strength of the course lies in preparing students who are unable to follow the more traditional route, onto a degree course in Cloud Computing.<br/>This course is available as either a full-time four year programme or a three year programme (foundation year plus accelerated two year degree programme). Students taking the full-time four year course will study four modules each year. Students on the accelerated programme will study six. All modules and the order they are studied are the same for both options.<br/><br/>Cloud Computing is a model for enabling on-demand access to a pool of computing resources, e.g. networks, servers, storage, applications, and services, that can be rapidly provisioned with minimal management effort or service provider interaction.<br/>The Cloud Computing BSc (Hons) degree part of the course incorporates contemporary issues and approaches in computing, underpinned by fundamental skills in networking, software design, data science, coding, computer hardware and physical infrastructure.
