As a mental health nurse, you might work in a hospital, clinic or the community, providing support and treatment. Wherever you work, you’ll care for people with a diverse range of health conditions.<br/><br/>Take part in practical learning placements and simulated scenarios throughout the mental health nursing course to boost your hands-on experience and apply theory. Study biological, psychosocial and pharmacological factors, as well as core anatomy and assessment skills, to equip you for a rewarding and challenging career in mental health nursing.<br/><br/>When you’ve completed this course, you’ll be eligible to register as a qualified mental health nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
