Lakes, green spaces, rooftop gardens - even a beach can be found alongside innovative building developments and over 100 years of historic architecture! When you need a break from books, you'll appreciate the change of scenery that the stunning campus provides. For 12 consecutive years, the campus has been recognised as one of the UK's best green spaces (Green Flag Award 2023).

Alongside spectacular views, the Edge Hill campus also offers an affordable experience for students. Student Life

You’ll find plenty to keep you busy outside your studies on campus. From sport competitions, society socials and free film screenings, to live theatre, themed bar nights and quizzes, there’s something for everyone. At Edge Hill, all new students are encouraged to make the most of everything that’s on offer to enhance your student experience, whether you live on or off campus. Meet new people from day one with the same interests or try something out of your comfort zone.

The team at Edge Hill understand that moving to a new city can be a daunting prospect, however they're commited to helping you get settled in and creating your home away from home. Edge Hill have created the best environment in the UK for creating a student home (ASRA, 2024), making sure you can make the most of your time studying!

Edge Hill understand you might not want to commit to anything straight away, so they offer a four-week free trial of our Sports Centre to new students. You can also sign up for a free Arts Centre membership to get free tickets for shows to use throughout your time here.
