**BSc Computer Science and Management is designed to help you gain a strong technical computer science background and understanding of management issues within large organisations.**<br/><br/>**Why study BSc Computer Science and Management**<br/>- This joint programme allows you to develop a strong background in both computer science and management science, enabling you to gain an excellent blend of technological knowledge in computer science and business skills.<br/><br/><br/>- Youll be equipped with a deep understanding of the core computer science competencies, programming software engineering, design and systems implementation while also gaining insight into the main challenges, processes and activities faced by management of organisations working in today’s rapidly evolving technology-driven world.<br/><br/><br/>- Youll study across the Department of Computing and Institute of Management Studies, gaining essential skills in both computer science, business and management.<br/><br/><br/>- Youll learn the skill to become leaders of global organisations that have a technology focus.<br/><br/><br/>**Placements**<br/>In your third year, you’ll have the opportunity to take a full-year industry placement (making this programme four years full-time, or seven years part-time).<br/><br/>This gives you valuable experience to build confidence, further develop skills and industry insight, and enhance your career prospects. By the end of your degree, you’ll have built a portfolio of work to kickstart your career in the creative industry.
