Heriot-Watt University is ranked 2nd in Scotland and 12th in the UK for European Languages (the National Student Survey 2014). 84% of our students expressed overall satisfaction with this programme. 85% were in work/study within six months of completing the programme, with 90% of those in work in a professional or managerial position. During third year you will spend one semester studying abroad at one of our exchange partners, and the other semester on a BSL placement in the UK.
