Global Health (Online) MPH

If you aspire to develop innovative ideas and solutions to tackle health inequalities in and across international populations, our online MPH Global Health will equip you with the skills to do so.<br/><br/>You will learn about key contemporary population health issues across countries with different climates, economies, and cultures, and how global health issues are managed through policy, systems, and agencies. On top of this, you will also examine a range of issues affecting health and wellbeing around the world, including trade, work, and healthcare systems, as well as the impact of global poverty, hostilities, and natural disasters.<br/><br/>WHAT YOU WILL LEARN ON THIS MPH GLOBAL HEALTH<br/><br/>This MPH Global Health degree is aligned with internationally recognised competency frameworks including the UK Public Health Skill and Knowledge Framework, and the World Health Organisation ASPHER Core Competency Framework for Public Health in the European Region.<br/><br/>Modules will cover core topics, including:<br/><br/><br/>- Applied epidemiology<br/><br/><br/>- Global health<br/><br/><br/>- Health promotion<br/><br/><br/>- The health protection function of public health<br/><br/><br/>- Leadership in global healthcare<br/><br/><br/>- Statistics and epidemiology<br/><br/><br/>- Health inequalities and community action<br/><br/><br/>- Control of communicable disease<br/><br/><br/>- Dissertation modules must focus on a global health issue<br/>
