However, there will also be a wide range of career opportunities in criminal justice outside the route to become a lawyer.<br/><br/>Careers where a legal qualification is not required but law and criminal justice knowledge would be useful include: the police or detective degree entry pathway, Probation Service, Prison Service, the civil service fast stream, the Health and Safety Executive, research organisations, Liberty, Amnesty International and a variety of charity and campaigning groups.
