Blenheim Walk Campus

Higher Education students are based at the University’s Blenheim Walk campus, located a short walk from the city centre and in the heart of the university district. Students at Blenheim Walk have access to industry-standard professional workshops and equipment relevant to their course area, computer suites with networks of Apple Mac computers featuring regularly updated, industry-standard software for a wide range of creative applications, and a specialist arts library which includes including special collections of artists’ books, photobooks and illustrated books as well as the University archive.

The University supports students throughout their degree to maximise their chances of success after graduation. Opportunities are available to connect with industry experts, attend specialist workshops, access support for freelancers and meet 1:1 with a careers consultant who has specialist knowledge of the creative industries.

Access to the Careers, Employability and Enterprise team is available for up five years following your graduation, with a range of activities and guidance to suit alumni including the Freelancer Summer School, alumni workshops, and 1-2-1 careers guidance. Alumni can also apply to the Creatives in Residence scheme on campus, or for a residency in a funded studio space.

Students at Leeds Arts University enjoy a small, close-knit community in a creative atmosphere where anything feels possible.

Students experience an intense and exciting working environment, where tutors encourage and aid every student to discover their individual creative potential. Tutors are often practising artists, musicians, writers or designers in their own right, and can provide students with in-depth knowledge of specialist fields of artistic practice.

International students are warmly welcomed, bringing new ideas and wider perspectives into to the vibrant student community.

A busy calendar of events and activities helps students to settle into University life and allows them to get to know their fellow students and this brilliant city. The Students’ Union host various events throughout the year making sure everyone has every opportunity to relax and have fun. The University’s links with some of the city’s best retailers, bars and attractions mean students can access great deals, up-to-date news on events and the chance to explore the creative scene in Leeds.

Tuition Fees, Scholarships and Bursaries

Tuition Fees

Fees for undergraduate home students are regulated by the Government, and fees for 2023/24 students are subject to regulations on fee increases*. Home students can expect to pay £9,250 per year for their course.

Students who already have an undergraduate degree upon enrolment or have already studied a higher education course will be required to pay £10,000 for entry onto a BA (Hons)/BMus course commencing 2023-24.

For International students, BA (Hons) course fees for 2023/24 are £16,700 per year, however for BMus (Hons) Popular Music Performance it is £17,800 per year.

*In November 2024 a one-off cash scholarship of £500 (payable only in the first year) is available to students who directly progress from one of the University’s further education courses to one of the University’s undergraduate courses.
