Learn through real industry practice
BA Sport Marketing uses experiential learning to boost your understanding of marketing theory, including live briefs, consultancy-style projects, simulations, and industry challenges. You'll work individually and in teams to develop real marketing solutions for sport-related organisations.

Get ahead of the game
Start building an impressive CV through volunteering, work-related learning, and an optional placement year. Previous students have volunteered to support major events, including the Olympic Games, Paralympic Games, and Commonwealth Games. Students have completed placement years with Leeds United Foundation, Huddersfield Town AFC, Barnsley FC, Sky Betting & Gaming, the Rugby Football Union (RFU), Run for All, Hatch, and Leeds Rhinos Netball.

Modern sport marketing is shaped by technology, data, and fan behaviour. You'll explore the latest emerging trends, including digital fan engagement, social media strategy, content creation, esports, and how to utilise data to evaluate marketing impact and return on investment (ROI).
