Previous speakers include human rights campaigner Baroness Shami Chakrabarti, and Leader of the Labour Party, Sir Keir Starmer. You’ll be able to access their lectures digitally if you are unable to attend on-campus.<br/><br/>**Mooting**<br/>You’ll have the opportunity to develop your advocacy skills through our active mooting programme. You could also enter regional and national competitions to hone your skill in this area.<br/><br/>**The Law Clinic**<br/>Our Law Clinic brings local law firms even closer to our student community and provides a confidential environment for members of the public to seek free legal advice. If you choose to get involved, youll develop key transferable skills. You’ll gain invaluable first-hand experience of legal practice which will enhance your CV.<br/><br/>**Law Trove**<br/>Leeds Law School subscribes to Law Trove, an online service offered by Oxford University Press. This means you’ll have free access to all Oxford University Press Law textbooks.
