Computing / Computer Science, Year 2

Really good, they did a good introduction to the course, discussing what we'd cover over the year and how things would be structured. The uni also had loads of events encouraging people to bond Really great size, and the facilities were great. Security was lovely, and the student residential tutors were really helpful and attentive. On campus gym is great, also has astro turf fields. Library has great resources, departments have great resources and the SU does loads of great work all year round. The lectures are well structured, and the lecturers are very approachable if you need any help. The lecture/seminar structure is really well executed Liverpool is very much a student city, so the deals are great, and there's always something going on. Lots of different theme nights at different clubs. I also love the late night takeaways being open

Freshers was amazing! I met so many new people and went to all the freshers events taken place.

I love accommodation! It’s allowed me to make all new groups of friends, it’s clean and I feel very safe.

The SU bar is awesome! The drinks are so cheap and there’s always so many events taken place.

My lecturers are great. We know them all personally and I feel I have a personal relationship with them where I know they are willing to help me

Liverpool is great for city life. Everyone is so friendly and I feel very safe

The course is amazing and grants so many opportunities

Education / Teacher Training, Year 3

Freshers week was brilliant. From activities such as the freshers fair, ice breaking activities and the induction week - everyone in our course settled in great. The accommodation here is great - I even stayed in halls for two years in a row! From then, I have met my friends for life. The accommodation is reasonably priced and the rooms are great - we even had a pool table in the common room The library is brilliant - primary Ed has its own dedicated part of the library! The surrounding gardens are so pretty and would make you want to go to the library. The classrooms and lecture halls are modern and accommodate each individuals needs The course is relevant to today and the ever changing world of education. We get the opportunity to participate in courses (for free) which looks great in our CV. Placement is the best part! City life was a major change from moving away from home in Northern Ireland. The night life and shopping are great, the places to eat out are endless!

It was fun. We did some fun activities. Going out was fun as well They're good. Rooms have enough space. Cleaners clean communal areas The gym was a bit small but only 25 pounds for the whole year. Library is nice and has every book you need. The tutors are very supportive. the course pushes you to try but isn't too hard. It was good. plenty of do and plenty of sights to see

Business and Management Studies, Year 2

I have been at Liverpool Hope University for 2 years now studying Business Management and Marketing. So far I have had an amazing experience meeting new friends and taking part in activities such as Young Enterprise earning a place at the regional finals. My course so far has been interesting but challenging at the same time. I have got involved in amazing opportunities like Networking events and Business Awards. I look forward to my final year and graduation!

Amazing, was great to meet new people

Cosy and tidy but also nosy at night with the students coming home all the time. Loved my time in accommodation

All easy to find, also very accessible!

The lectures are easy to get along with and talk to it in need of help and they are east to study from

Amazing! So easy to get to everything g and the night life is the best thing about it

It’s both practical and theory so need to know how much work effort needs to go into their course

I was very nervous during freshers week. It was my first time away from home. However after meeting my flat mates and uni classmates I felt at ease and was able to fully enjoy it. Brilliant! I was placed in a flat of 6, with people in similar courses. The accommodation staff helped us make ties and friendships with flats throughout our blocks High tech. Clean and easy to navigate all of them. The student union always had events on to suit everyone's interests The course was tailored so that we got the most teaching experience as possible. The lectures were relatable and relevant to our placements. Staff were friendly Brilliant. Coming from a small village to a vibrant city was an eye opener. It was a very welcoming city, the scouse are very friendly and welcoming. The city itself is easy to navigate

My university experience was very limited as I didn't live in student accommodation but I had a tour of it and from what I saw it was amazing. I study Education and IT and they go really well together because when I graduate I can go on to do many things. The two subjects I study go in to a lot of depth and cover all the grounds of what you would expect and more.
