Welcome to Moorlands College, the home of applied Christian theology. <br/><br/>Whether you want to delve deeper into the teachings of Jesus Christ, or you're more interested in modern Christianity, you can expect engaging modules and expert teaching. Moorlands College's two specialist undergraduate courses are both divided into four strands, with an annual module and a practical placement throughout.<br/> <br/>BA Applied Theology is about engaging deeply with Biblical texts, scripture and missional contexts. You'll learn how to interpret scripture, how to contextualise theology in contemporary situations, and you'll specialise in local church leadership or community transformation.<br/><br/>BA Applied Theology (Youth and Community Work) places more of a focus on community work and transformation. You'll study Biblical texts with an emphasis on contemporary Christian life and youth work contexts, examine modern social policy and professional practise, and develop the skills to address real world problems.
