The BA Linguistics and Media joint honours degree offers a unique opportunity to explore the dynamic relationship between language and media. This interdisciplinary programme combines the study of language structure and use with the theoretical and practical aspects of media production and analysis. Students will examine areas such as discourse analysis, sociolinguistics, syntax, media ethics, media and culture, and global media.
The course is designed to develop strong analytical and critical thinking skills, alongside a deep understanding of how language and media shape communication and influence society.
