Nursing (Adult)

The BSc (Hons) Nursing (Adult) course at NTU Mansfield prepares you to become a skilled and compassionate adult nurse. We embed the core NHS values of care, compassion, competence, communication, courage, and commitment throughout our teaching. This program blends theory with hands-on experience, equipping you with the knowledge and practical skills needed to face real-world healthcare challenges.

Throughout the course, you will work closely with experienced healthcare professionals, alongside service users and carers, ensuring a rich, diverse learning experience. This collaborative approach fosters a deep understanding of the critical role nurses play in patient care, from critical thinking to compassionate support.

By the time you graduate, you will be fully prepared to register as an Adult Nurse, ready to deliver evidence-based care across a variety of healthcare settings. The program's strong emphasis on professionalism and clinical skills ensures you are well-equipped to make a positive impact in the nursing profession.

We also offer BSc (Hons) Nursing - Mental Health at our Mansfield site.

You can also join this course by progressing from our Level 5 Nursing Associate Apprenticeship. At NTU this route is known as R2RN.
