Oaklands College

It's really good. I'm studying a foundation degree in Media production and my class is built up with about 17 students and I really enjoy having a small class that all work well together with enthusiastic and passionate tutors that help us every step of the way. Also we have really good camera/filming equipment helping us better our learning too!

I absolutely loved it!! So welcoming, and everything about it was up my alley. The teachers were friendly and great in general. Yeah it was good, however there is room for improvement. For example, I would say that the decor is fairly dated and the buildings don’t look very modern.. This was one of the most impressive things about the whole college. There’s so many facilities and sports courts, as well as having a high standard and modern style.. There are many great things about the course and lectures. Firstly, it’s hands on. I feel that I learned a lot more when the lessons were more hands and on and practical rather than theory based.. Yeah, the city life was very good. It was chilled out and had lots going on. It’s in a brilliant location so it’s only a short train journey away from London city.. I highly recommend this UNI/college.

My experiences so far have been great learning new and high level problem solving with the course and helping me gain experience and a higher level at my company. Hopefully by the end I'll be able to become a good engineer. The people on my course are also very helpful and get on with work so none of those idiots who mess around all the time. They're always up for the pub as well
