It great! It's is nice and relatively small so you get to meet and know everyone, the support available is amazing because the support staff are able to give you time and listen.

SRUC review

(4.5)·By Kiera F·Veterinary Sciences· Jun 2023
My time at SRUC has been very enjoyable with very interesting classes. Unfortunately a lot of my lectures are online which I feel is not beneficial for veterinary nursing as it is a very practical job.

Freshers was quiet for me, I didn't do much and campus was quite quiet surrounding it I don't stay at the accommodation but I believe it os very good All great big library, lots of class rooms, computer rooms and labs tennis/basketball court a onsite bar for social meetings and lots more The lecturers are passionate about animals as much of not more then the students and the courses are full of good useful information City life is very busy, lots to do, lots of places to eat and drink and plenty of shops

Likeminded people, if you're not interested in farming or agriculture you won't fit in.

SRUC College

(3.5)·By Louise L·Veterinary Nursing· Jun 2023
Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at SRUC Oatridge college. I felt all the lectures were really helpful and knowledgeable and listened if I had a problem. The college was easy to find and although I was not in college much due to covid-19, but I enjoyed my time when I was in campus

The uni is very small with very few facilities. We were told we could access Edinburgh university's facilities as we are based on their campus but this isn't true. Lectures are good and reliable. Some tutorials run by PhD students who don't really know how to teach. Tutorials are not worth going to. It facilities are good and staff are very helpful. Arcade where student's are on break is very small and there is alot of rubbish and noise to the extent you can't hear the person next to you.
