You will also develop your understanding of the many reasons why people break the law.<br/>Our varied teaching methods put you at the centre of your learning experience, stimulating and encouraging your interest and development with a range of activities all designed to fine-tune your criminologist skills.<br/>In particular, the work-based learning modules will help you to gain a competitive advantage when you graduate. These modules enable you to gain hands-on experience in a crime-related area such as:<br/>• youth offending <br/>• victim support<br/>• crime prevention<br/>• witness support <br/>• policing support roles, such as special constables.<br/>You will also have access to hands-on facilities at the University of West London, including a crime scene room for Forensic Science modules.<br/>Over the course of your studies, there will be opportunities to take part in field trips to further embellish your learning experience.<br/><br/>Foundation year<br/>Did you know it is also possible to study this Criminology degree with a foundation year? Whether you dont meet the initial entry requirements for this degree, are returning to study after a break or just want to build up your skills, then you might want to consider our Criminology with Foundation Year course.
