Leaving Certificate - Higher Level (Ireland) (first awarded in 2017)

78 UCAS tariff points to include a minimum of five subjects (four of which must be Higher Level) to include English at H6 if studied at Higher Level or 04 if studied at Ordinary Level.

GCSE/National 4/National 5

GCSE Profile to include CGSE English Language grade C or above (or equivalent). Essential Skills Level 2 Communication is an acceptable alternative.

The C grade can be substituted by a combination of alternative qualifications to the same standard as defined by UCAS. A range of OCN NI youth work qualifications hold UCAS points. These will contribute to your total tariff e.g. OCN level 3 certificate in youth work equals 8 points with the level 3 diploma equating to 16 points.
