Study History with Education at Ulster University in the United Kingdom.<br/><br/>History at Ulster covers the period from the early modern era to the 20th Century. Students are given the opportunity to select from a diverse range of modules that cover Ireland, Britain, the Americas, and Europe. Political, social, economic and cultural history are given due weighting in the programme.<br/><br/>We find that students who are interested in teaching as a career may decide to add Education to their degree ‘mix’ at undergraduate level before applying for a Postgraduate Certificate in Education after they have completed their degree. Each Education module usually involves a two hour lecture plus a one hour seminar each week. In addition, students are required to undertake substantial directed independent learning.
