Lectures are very interesting and full, with lots of responsive work to do independently after. The lectures listen to our feedback and give us lots of reasources to research from. They shape future lessons to include techniques or information that will be more helpful or more interesting. The facilities are amazing with lots of rooms for hand printing, digital and many others. And that's just firmly course there are so many courses to choose from, with additional sessions or classes to sign up for. I use photoshop a lot so there a lot of Mac comoutors which ables us to do this, a vibrant library and journal archive.

Media, Third Year
(3)·By Gemma P·Media Studies· Oct 2018
I study a Media Makeup degree at (formerly Somerset college) Bridgwater and Taunton College. The course itself is a brilliant course, it's so specific and specialised and perfect for someone who knows exactly what they want to do. My course leaders and lecturers are all very friendly and easy to get on with. However, the college as a whole is rather unorganised. Occasionally they'll not be able to provide important details when required, and example of this is graduation. Overall, I would recommend this college and my course.

Very little support, way the course is run is chaos

I chose this University due to the smaller class sizes (20ish people compared to 400ish at UWE). Throughout my time here I have been provided with very little support with assignments and personal situations. Every single lecturer is very last minute with timetables (timetables released only days before, or sometimes not at all) and sharing information via blackboard, leaving my whole cohort very confused. I have made some great friends whilst at UCS however most of them dropped out in the first year due to the lack of support and chaotic run of the course. Placements are tough, if you have a rubbish placement the University don't care and don't help, even though the send constant emails saying they will support issues in placement. I have not finished this course yet, but will 100% NOT recommend this university to anyone
