Turn your passion into a profession – by developing creative skills to carve out your place in the fashion industry. In this intensive year, you’ll train for a full honours degree in our textile and fashion design studios – surrounded by the equipment, environments, and people you’ll work with in your career. By the time you graduate, you’ll have an impressive portfolio, direct experience, and the creative confidence to step into the world of work.

Above all, this course champions individuality. Whether your direction is commercial ready-to-wear, adaptive and inclusive clothing, gender-neutral fashion, streetwear, or something entirely your own – you'll define your brief, develop your creative research, and produce a major project that reflects who you are as a designer.

If you prefer a closer, more community feel, UCA’s creative campuses in Canterbury, Epsom, Farnham, and Maidstone could be for you. Each campus is home to a vibrant community of like-minded creatives, with supportive and passionate academic staff to help you bring your ideas to life.

As a UCA student, you’ll have access to their specialist creative facilities, from VR studios and digital editing suites to traditional craft workshops and your own dedicated art space. Here you can experiment, find inspiration, and get all the support you need.
