Psychology / Criminology, Year 2

Very good freshers week, there was lots of help around campus in order to familiarise ourselves with it. Got to know people in my course and lecturers etc. I am currently staying in manchester and I commute, however I was going to live in bolton the cube and the process was very easy and helpful. Library is excellent with great facilities, the student areas are also very good and clean and well maintained. The head of my course was very good when explaining what the course entailed and she introduced us to all other lecturers and people of interest. It made me really comfortable going to uni. As I said I live in Manchester and it's a big change from a small city in ireland but I love it. There is direct trains to bolton

It was amazing! So much to do and see I'm not sure Facilities were absolutely amazing at Bolton. The art department was always fully stocked with great materials and equipment They were very attentive and always gave you time for tutorials. Lectures were also small and very intimate I really love bolton because it's an old town and there are so many places to visit and go to

Freshers week was okay. Didn't do much because I didn't know about the events until it was over. Not been in it myself but it's okay. Good size, good space. All very very fab! There are small classes and so the lecturers know you and you know them and it's easy to get along with everyone and know them on a personal level. It's busy.

It was great! Precise details given and good introduction overall I lived with my parents, but I've heard great things about the accommodation It was of great standard with so many facilities around and the book range and journal availability was absolutely great! The courses were well structured, we got a lot of support for our assignments, the workshops were always really helpful and more importantly the lecturers always available to help! Amazing

Freshers week was brilliant Busy but brilliant So many friendly people who were there if I needed help or had any questions Accommodation was quite small but homely and if you wanted anything changing they would try to assist you so it met your needs Felt safe and secure The facilities were also brilliant Spacious and easy access The library had a wide tangent of book a to help you and easy to concentrate Well even though it was a small class it wasn't better as the lecturers were able to give you a more one on one experience Focused on you and how you learn individualy You learn all different techniques into the course which really help you progress and perform better Inspiring City life was good quite a small town but everyone was so friendly and supportive Every shop was close to eachother Everything you needed was right there

My university is absolutely brilliant. All my teachers have been so welcoming and made me feel excited for the future. My flat mates have made my move so easy and life is great right now. I cannot wait to see what the future brings

It was great, so many events to choose from and you get to meet a lot of people not only in your course but within the uni. There is an accommodation which is linked to the uni called Orlando which is standard uni living. There are three other options in Bolton to choose from which I'd recommend over Orlando. The facilities are amazing, massive studio spaces and an easy to use library. The lecturers are so passionate within my course they support you and guide you throughout. The courses stretch your capabilities and challenge you. Everything is close together, easy to find your way around and to learn where to go.

It was really helpful and informative to study there. It helped me to know myself and the new world around me. I used to travel daily to the university. I don't know about accommodation. The facilities were very good. We were free to use them at any time. These facilities helped alot in my course. The thing that was good about course was our course tutor. She was really nice, humble, helpful, and had good relationship with each student. I don't used to go out that much but overall i would say its good because there is town near the university and different food shops, shopping facilities.

Amazing time!

All lecturers even senior lecturers are hands on, always available to help you... The resources provided i.e. library services are invaluable... There are always past students dissertations and past papers available to help you too.. Lecture theatres are really modern and seat upto 130 students. Lecturers well my lecturers try their best to use very interesting and interactive learning skills i.e you tube suprising how much you can learn really. All years and modules are covered by individual handbooks and so even if your hungover and cant make it in, you can never miss the work as it is pre-listed with reading lists and all relevant deadlines. Here they make learning much easier and more organised which has often been a great help for me. All though very basic, and a tad bit expensive for what you get. The experience is invaluable, and fun all the way. Many Good Times. Although, I think Halls would only be good for first year rather than 2nd and 3rd s as you may not be able to concentrate solely on work...so be carefully if this is going to be your 3 year plan... BOLTON SMALL AND CUTE...MANY MODERN BARS, CLUBS and RESTAURANTS... EXTREMELY CHEAP ESPECIALLY STUDENT NIGHTS...WHOOOOOOOOOOPPP!!! LOVE IT. WITH NEARBY MANCHESTER, BURY, PRESTON AND WIGAN YOU HAVE SO MUCH MORE TO SEEEEEE OVER 3 YEARS OF DEGREE LIFE. SHOPPING IS GOOD TOO, ESPECIALLY TRAFFORD CENTRE AND MANCHESTER... ALL THAT YOU NEED IS IN BOLTONIIIAAAA....
