It will enable you to develop essential skills for this exciting fast-paced industry. <br/><br/>**Why study with us**<br/>- You’ll be taught by research active staff with many years of experience in industry.<br/><br/><br/>- Full-time students can take an optional 48-week sandwich placement in industry to consolidate their learning and radically enhance employability.<br/><br/><br/>- Benefit from the latest high-quality equipment and facilities available through our new £35m Engineering Innovation Centre.<br/><br/><br/>**What youll do**<br/>- Electrical and electronic engineering roles are part of a rapidly evolving industry, so your career options will be diverse.<br/><br/><br/>- Our Engineering Innovation Centre enables you to work on real-world projects with commercial partners in state-of-the-art facilities.<br/><br/><br/>- You’ll learn and thrive in our specialist engineering workshop and electronic and control system laboratory.<br/><br/><br/>**Accreditations**<br/>This BEng is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as an Incorporated Engineer and partly meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer.<br/><br/>**Future Careers**<br/>Electrical and Electronic Engineering will enable you to thrive in a rapidly evolving industry – you’ll come away with a set of transferable skills to find employment in different industrial and commercial sectors.
