On this course you’ll learn the fundamentals of the many revolutionary changes that will affect how machines operate over the coming years.<br/><br/>**Why study with us**<br/><br/><br/>- You’ll work alongside our research active staff with the possibility of continuing on to postgraduate study or PhD research.<br/><br/><br/>- Take the chance to travel internationally to participate in conferences and contribute to research publications.<br/><br/><br/>- Benefit from the latest high-quality equipment and facilities available through our new £35m Engineering Innovation Centre.<br/><br/><br/>**What youll do**<br/><br/><br/>- On successful completion of our degree, apply for progression to an MSc or world-leading research degrees within the Jost Institute for Tribotechnology.<br/><br/><br/>- Our Engineering Innovation Centre enables you to work on real-world projects with commercial partners in state-of-the-art facilities.<br/><br/><br/>- You can undertake an optional 12 week work placement or 38-week industry placement following completion of the taught modules. <br/><br/><br/>**Future Careers**<br/><br/>Mechatronics and Intelligent Machines is a good base for a career in a range of roles associated with system engineering, test engineers and maintenance engineering.

HND (BTEC)P Students will normally be required to posses at least an HND, Foundation Degree, or other equivalent UK, EU or overseas qualification in Engineering based subjects related area to Mechatronics and Intelligent Machines, or overseas Engineering students who completed three years of study in subjects’ area related to Mechatronics and Intelligent Machines. However, all applicants will be assessed for admission to the course on an individualbasis. |
