You’ll gain a strong foundation in economic analysis, with a specialised focus on corporate finance, financial instruments, and financial markets. This course combines training in economics with a strong emphasis on finance. You’ll study core topics such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, economic modelling, and statistics, alongside specialist finance modules. In addition to corporate finance, you’ll gain insights into financial markets, exploring areas such as behavioural finance, derivatives and risk management, and alternative investments. You can choose to deepen your quantitative skills through modules in data analysis and programming or broaden your understanding of economics by selecting from a diverse range of optional modules offered by the School of Economics.

In your third year, you'll study abroad at one of our exciting partner institutions across the globe. Throughout your degree, you’ll receive dedicated support from your academic adviser and benefit from our STEPS (Support, Training, Employability, Progression, and Skills) module.
