Amazing

(5)·By Eloise D·Film· Jun 2024
University is like a cherished friend, always there to challenge, inspire, and uplift me. Its halls buzz with the energy of curiosity and ambition, drawing me into a world of endless possibilities. The professors are like guiding lights, sharing their wisdom and igniting my passion for learning. Each lecture is a journey of discovery, expanding my horizons and shaping my perspective on the world. The campus itself is a vibrant community, where friendships are forged and memories are made. From late-night study sessions to spirited debates in the classroom, every moment at university is an opportunity for growth and personal development. It's a place where I can explore my interests, pursue my dreams, and become the best version of myself. University fills me with a sense of purpose and belonging, reminding me that with dedication and determination, anything is possible.

My experience at UEA :)

(5)·By Lydia S·Pharmacology / Pharmacy· Jun 2024
First year, I lived in an ensuite room on campus and met my best friend on the first day who lived right next door to me. I made amazing memories that I'll cherish forever and met so many lovely people. I've really enjoyed my course so far, and my lecturers' passion and enthusiasm really help. It was also cool to join societies, such as ballet, as it gave me the opportunity to practice something I loved outside of my studies. The campus at UEA is beautiful and relaxing to walk around, helping clear my mind when I have exams and deadlines.

Pharmacology and Pharmacy, Year 3 Plus

It's been a great experience. It wasn't as easy as everyone makes it out to be. However it has transformed me as a person and I have learnt a lot about myself.

I have met lots of new people, many of which I wouldn't normally approach and had opened my eyes to the variety of people out there. Again this has taught me a lot about myself and improved how I communicate with different people.

Psychology / Criminology, Graduate

Full of fun, so many options and events for new and old students alike. Wristbands were offered and there were 2 weeks of events total. A lot of fun I stayed in the iconic Ziggurats, Norfolk Terrace to be specific. Best choice I've ever made, each flat overlooks the grass, the UEA broad and the trees. A sense of community and closeness is fostered within each flat. The library was the best I've ever been to, open 24 hours, 5 floors full of study spaces and all the books you could ever need. The UEA Sportspark is one of the best and biggest leisure centres in the country, offering many clubs and facilities. Covered all areas of psychology, has influenced all areas of my thinking, I am able to think and evaluate critically. Interactive, informative, and engaging. Norwich is one of my favourite cities, my favourite place I have ever lived. It is one of the top 10 cities for the shopping experience in the UK.

My university is great - I wouldn't want to be anywhere else studying biochemistry. The lecturers are so enthustaic, as they are researching what they are teaching us! I love the fact there is so much to do on campus such as over 200 societies and sports to join! There's also so much to do in Norwich city as well including an awesome night life.

Amazing! Loved every bit of it as was able to meet new people from both my flat and my course All accommodation is great. I stayed in Constable Terrace which was conveniently close to everything on campus and also very sociable Facilities were very good, I played a lot of sports and used the library a lot so this was essential All of the lecturers were very good, and the contact hours weren't too much or too little, plus the course content was interesting Norwich is a great city to explore in the day and also has brilliant night life

Geography, Year 3

(5)·By Lucy K·Geography· Jul 2021
It was great, we had 2 weeks of it and there were so many events on. We went out almost every night and I got on with my flat really well. Was great way to meet people and get to know them. I was in en suite campus which I loved. The rooms were nice with a good bathroom. I was in a flat of 12 which was a great size because it meant there was definitely going to be at least someone I got on with. The kitchen communal space was a great size as well and very sociable. Library was huge and so is the sportspark where you can do almost every sport. The LCR is the student club on campus which is so much fun I miss it a lot. In terms of classrooms and lectures theatres they vary in size to accommodate the right amount of people. There are so many different modules to choose from and so many diverse aspects of the course. One thing I really like is that you can do a 2-5 month placement working for whatever charity you like. I also love how passionate the lecturers are about the course. I had never been to Norwich before I came to UEA but I love it. There are so many independent shops and cafes which I love and the clubbing scene is great. Such a fun and quirky city.

UEA is an amazing university. The lectures and seminar leaders are brilliant, enthusiastic and have an obvious passion for the topic.
