Dance MA

In our MA and MFA Dance programmes, you’ll explore the diverse world of dance, focusing on non-Western forms like hip-hop, social, and urban dance. You’ll develop your artistic voice while gaining practical experience in choreography, curation, and production. These dance programmes blend practice with theory, preparing you for a wide range of careers in the dance industry.<br/><br/>You will:<br/><br/>Study a broad spectrum of dance forms, challenging traditional Western dance canons.<br/>Learn from UEL’s expert staff and benefit from nearly two decades of teaching in dance<br/>Develop essential skills in choreography, performance, curation, and dance entrepreneurship.<br/>Gain hands-on experience through industry placements with partners such as East London Dance and Breakin’ Convention.<br/>Graduate ready to pursue roles such as performer, choreographer, curator, or creative producer.
