(5)·By Will B·Geography· Jul 2021 Difficult for the first few days to meet new people. Really picked up on the 3rd day. The nights out were really fun and they allowed for just over a week of free time to settle in I was in Holland D, which was just renovated and really modern. An ensuite room. It was fairly small however The student union bar is fairly big but not really widely used unless for a sports social. The library and gyms are very good. Lecture halls are as you'd expect, can fit hundreds of students Interesting lectures. Enough work to be engaged but not overbearing. Weekly tutorials where you can meet peers and have close contact hours with post graduate students Amazing city. Small enough to get around easily, but full of attractions like the castle and the beach. Waverly train station makes it easy to access, and there are endless pubs and clubs etc
