**This computer science degree with a specialism in games provides the skills you need for a variety of games-related careers in computing.**<br/><br/>This degree in Computer Science specialising in games will provide you with a firm grasp of the science underpinning computer and software systems. Our current BCS accreditation includes the intake up to 2024. The re-accreditation is expected to be confirmed in Autumn 2024 for the 2025 intake onwards.<br/><br/>**What you should know about this course**<br/>- You will work on the basics of scripting languages, before moving on to mastering game engine technology.<br/><br/><br/>- This degree allows you to extend development pipelines beyond the default toolset and develop knowledge of the business, industrial, and commercial context of computer science.<br/><br/><br/>- Using the very latest technologies, you’ll get the practical experience and theoretical understanding to design, construct, and modify a wide range of systems. <br/>
